How to Make Money Quick and Pay Off All Debt

If you’ve overspent for this past holiday season and need to make money quick to pay off those debts here are some fast and easy suggestions for making quick cash online.

Things You’ll Need:

  • A PayPal account to accept payment.

  • An eBay account

  • A PayPal account

Can You Write?

Step 1:

Write what you know. Everyone is an expert, or at least knowledgeable, about one topic. Think of your profession, hobbies or everyday talents that you possess. Write down a list of all the things you know how to do well or subjects you are knowledgeable about.

Step 2:

Review the list. Decide which ones you could write an informative article about. Topics could include how to do simple home repairs, computer maintenance, tips on specific hobbies or crafts or helpful tips relating to your profession. The possibilities are endless.

Step 3:

Write an informative article of between 500 to 1000 words. Break it up into easy to short and easy to read paragraphs including an introductory paragraph that describes your topic, several paragraphs within the body of the article and a closing paragraph that sums up what you’ve explained in the article.

Step 4:

Proofread your article. Remember, you’re hoping to get paid for this article so make sure your spelling and grammar are excellent. Have a second person read the article if necessary in order to spot mistakes you may have missed. Articles can make money quick but not if they’re not well written.

Step 5:

Offer your article on various article directories which will pay you either up front or when your articles are sold. See the resource box for a link to the best places to submit your articles.

Step 6:

Repeat the process with another article.

How to Find a Profitable Niche for Affiliate Marketing

In affiliate marketing, there can be profits in it only if you find the right market to sell to. This specialized market is often referred to as a niche. Finding a hungry niche of people looking for a product or service and then providing that product is the key to affiliate marketing success. Follow these steps to go about hunting down one of your own.

Finding a Market

Step 1:
Always find a hungry market before you find a product. You want to make sure there are people out there willing to buy what you're selling. Start with the demand and then supply that demand.
Step 2:
Brainstorm market ideas. These ideas can come from anywhere. Make a list of topics that interest you or topics that come to mind. Make a list of ten of these broad ideas and write them down. A sample list could be: cars, football, cats, dogs, wine, golf, pregnancy, soccer, yoga and gardening.
Step 3:
See what’s hot. If you're having trouble thinking of topics, there are places on the Internet that tracks the most popular searches. See the resource box for links to these websites.
Step 4:
Narrow down your topics. Words like “cars” or “football” are much too broad to make money. The competition for the keywords in this wide niche will be stiff. You'll need to find smaller niches within this topic like “football gloves” or “toy remote control cars."
Step 5:
Find related keywords. Once you have entered your broad term into the keyword research tool it will return the top one hundred most popular related keywords to your broad phrase. For example “football jerseys” and “football card” may come back as suggested keywords. You can dig even deeper into any of the returned keyword phrase by clicking on it and finding an even more targeted niche such as “upper deck football card.”
Step 6:
Take note of your niche keywords. Once you have a list of niche keyword phrases from your broad keyword you'll want to copy them down. You can write them down on paper or copy and paste them into a word document or spreadsheet. Also take note of the number beside each keyword. This tells you how many times in a month people search for that particular keyword phrase and gives you a rough idea how much demand there is for that product.

Determining Competition for Your Keywords

Step 1:
Check out the competition. The key to finding a profitable affiliate marketing niche is to find something that people want that's in high demand but has limited competition among sellers.
Step 2:
Find out how many websites are already targeting your keywords. To do this go to an internet search engine (we’ll use Google) and enter into the search field a keyword phrase surrounded by quotation marks. For example: “football gloves.” Hit enter to retrieve the results.
Step 3:
Read and study the results. At the top of Google you'll find the words “Results 1-10 of about (number of Web pages) for (the phrase you typed in).” For example, type in “football gloves" and you will get back “Results 1-10 of about 121,000 (at time this article was written)." You want to pay special attention to the total number of Web pages that are optimized for your keyword. Choose a keyword phrase that has a low number.
Step 4:
Find a low competition phrase. Continue entering keyword phrases surrounded by quotation marks until you come across phrases that aren't that competitive. In the beginning, we recommend getting as low as possible. Keyword phrases with competing Web pages under 20,000 will give you a much better chance to rank well in the search engines. If you really want to up your chances of getting on the first page of Google’s results aim for competing Web pages with a number of 5,000 or less.
Step 5:
Keep track of your results. Be sure to write down all the keyword phrases you find with low competition. Keep track of the number of competing web pages, as well as the number of searches on this keyword according to the keyword research tool. Once you've found in-demand keyword phrases with low competition you've found your niche markets. You're now ready to find a product to serve that niche and start promoting it through affilaite marketing.

How to Find an Affiliate Marketing Program for Promote

If you plan on marketing a product or service through affiliate marketing, you'll need to choose one that meets the market’s demand. Profitability is another factor to take into consideration. Chances are you’re doing this to make some money, right? Follow these steps to pick the right product and service.

Step 1:
Choose a product or service that is in demand.
Step 2:
Search for affiliate marketing programs. You can do a search for programs and services that cater to what your market wants at specific websites that cater to affiliate marketers looking for programs to promote.
Step 3:
Do an independent search. Many great affiliate programs aren’t partnered with the big affiliate marketing companies. If you're looking for a specific product to promote, simply type that product into your Internet browser along with the words affiliate program.
Step 4:
Browse through the programs. Whether you found the program through an independent search or at an affiliate marketing website you will want to take note of some important details and compare programs.
Step 5:
Determine if the product is valuable. Through research you should have found a niche market and determined what your target market wants. Does this product fit the bill? Would you buy it if you were in the market for that type of product? Ask yourself these questions and be honest. It does you know good to promote a product that your target market isn’t really looking for.
Step 6:
Look at the commission. The commission percentage is the amount of money you will make from each sale that is generated through your affiliate links. Percentages can range from as low as 2 percent up to 75 percent. Do the math to find out just how much you will make per sale. It's possible to make good money selling many small ticket items; but you need to know your figures to make an informed decision.
Step 7:
What is the “cookie” period? A cookie is a small parcel of text left on your potential customer’s computer when they click through on of your affiliate links. Say a program offers a cookie that lasts for one month. During that one month period, this cookie will identify a person as having found the merchant’s website through your link as therefore is your customer. For the entire duration of the cookie’s lifespan you will get commission for sales from that customer, even if they only clicked on your link once. It's not a “make or break” feature, but the longer the cookie lasts the better your chances of making a sale.
Step 8:
Look at tracking and reporting. Tracking and reporting are very important with affiliate marketing in order for you to keep track of how many of your website or blog visitors are clicking through to your links. This allows you to gauge the effectiveness of your website or blog and make changes should you find very few visitors clicking your affiliate links.
Step 9:
Check for marketing materials and support. A good affiliate marketing program should help you sell products. This could come in the form of pre-written text links and web banners that have been proven effective or tips and tricks to selling the company’s products. A monthly newsletter aimed at helping affiliates is always a good thing as it keeps you up to date with new products, upcoming sales and new techniques to help you make more money online.
Step 10:
Look at your data. By now, you should have at least two or three products or services to offer your hungry market. Compare them and determine which is best for both your potential customers and you.

How to make Money Online?

For those looking to make money at home, online affiliate marketing can be the perfect choice. Affiliate marketing is the business of selling other people’s products and receiving a commission every time you make a sale. The good news is that you can get started quickly. Plus, you don’t need your own product to sell, and it doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg to begin your own online business. Follow these steps to get started.

Step 1:
Find a market. Any good marketer, online or off, will tell you that the first step to becoming a successful businesses person is finding a group of people that need something and then sell it to them. These people are called your "target market."
Step 2:
Brainstorm some ideas. Think of some broad topics or services that you could sell and write them down on a piece of paper. Right now you shouldn’t be concerned with what the topics are as further research will tell if they have the potential to be profitable or not. So go ahead and write down some ideas.
Step 3:
Narrow down your topics. Since it's too hard to start off affiliate marketing to such a broad crowd as those interested in cars, you need to narrow your topic. Find a niche with a smaller, more-focused topic.
Step 4:
Search online for ideas to narrow your topic.
Step 5:
Check the competition. Find out if there's already a website covering the niche you'd like to fill. Is there a market for a competing site like yours?
Step 6:
Find a product that matches your target market. See what sells on already established websites. Find out if you can partner with companies who make the products you'd like to market.
Step 7:
Build a platform. Once you've found your target market and a product to sell, you'll need an Internet marketplace, a platform that could be a website you build, a blog or something in between called a Squidoo. For those just starting out with affiliate marketing and are on a budget, many recommend using a blog or Squidoo. They're free to set up.
Step 8:
Create a blog or Squidoo lens of value. Don’t just place links on it asking your visitors to “buy now!” Instead, create a blog or lens with informative content on your topic or chosen product. Product reviews are a great. They'll help your visitor make their decision--and keep them on your blog or Squidoo longer.
Step 9:
Add affiliate links. This is how you make money from home. Don’t forget this step! Once you've written an article or review on your product of choice, you'll want to include a link to the merchant’s website to let your visitors know they can find out more or purchase the product through the link. Don’t be overly pushy, but draw attention to the link. You don’t want to assume your visitors will know to click that link in order to buy it.
Step 10:
Now you'll need traffic to your blog or lens. Both "Word Press" blogs and Squidoo are often listed in Google searches. This means if you choose keywords with low competition and use these keywords throughout your lens or blog, you have a good chance of ranking well in Google search engine results.
Step 11:
Keep Track. This is an ongoing step. It’s always a good idea to have some sort of traffic counter on your blog. Squidoo comes with its own traffic reports that make keeping track of how many people visit you easy. It may take a while to get traffic, but if you keep updating your blog or lens with new fresh content, it will happen.
Step 12:
Tweak your blog. Once you start getting visitors, you'll want to keep an eye on how much of that traffic is converting into sales. If lots of people are visiting, but no one is buying, there could be a problem with your content or link placement. Make little changes and keep track of what you change until you start to make sales.
